Five words I learn

1.intervention 介入(noun)

the act or fact of becoming involved intentionally in a difficult situation:

• The intervention by UN troops prevented fighting from breaking out.

2.driverless 無人駕駛 (adjective)

not having a person as a driver:

• Driverless cars could possibly help ease traffic congestion, lower pollution, and prevent accidents.

3.efficient 高效 (adjective)

working or operating quickly and effectively in an organized way:

• The city's transport system is one of the most efficient in Europe.

4.correspondent通訊員 (noun)

a person employed by a newspaper, a television station, etc. to report on a particular subject or send reports from a foreign country:

• the education correspondent for the Guardian.

5.cart 馬車 (noun)

a vehicle with either two or four wheels, pulled by a horse and used for carrying goods:

• a horse and cart

What are the challenges you often face when you listen and speak in English?

In the class, we listened to the story of the princess farmer. After listening to it, I have to repeat it myself. I found that although I understand the story, I can’t retell the story with a complete English sentence. Maybe it is a grammatical problem. 

It's easy to read, but when I'm nervous, I can't read well, and the listening part is OK, but the Speaking part is my weakest place.

My new plan this year!

This year's sophomore year, my plan for sophomore year is to fill the class schedule and all pass. I even went to the office to apply for Course Overload, so I have 31 credits in total this semester because my junior class schedule doesn't want to be full, in this case, I have so much time to prepare for the test of the license.
